After winning the National Community Service Award from the Friends of the WWII Memorial, the Friends decided to come to Poquoson and film the project's activities for PHS's 2018 Homecoming. They interviewed project participants and community members and recorded some of the day's activities, from having our veterans serve as Grand Marshalls for the parade to having them stand on the field during the playing of the national anthem before the football game.
